Professional License: Pam is currently licensed in Georgia, as a LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor)
She is also a CPCS (Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor)
Pam has held LMFT, (Marriage and Family Therapist) and LPC in Maine and has held a LICSW in the District of Columbia (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker) for 30 years (1989 – 2019.)
Insurance: Pam is out of network for all insurance companies by choice, allowing her to serve clients at the highest level, according to her wisdom, extensive training/experience and guidance in cooperation with the client’s needs, rather than being dictated to by insurance company policies. Sessions are paid by client and receipt provided for insurance reimbursement upon request. Most insurance covers at least partial reimbursement for out of network services. Clients have experienced varying levels of reimbursement depending on specific policy coverage and persistence in follow-through with the insurance company. Please contact your insurance company for your specific policy details.
Payments: We do not bill. Payment is due at time of service. We do not accept credit cards. We request that payment be made through direct deposit. Ask about this. We also accept Checks and cash.
Virtual Sessions: We receive frequent inquiries regarding telephone/Skype sessions with Pam, as her skills and expertise are all-too-unique. In-person sessions are best for initial work when possible, allowing the presence and energetic connection which are so very powerful with Pam. Skype sessions can be utilized quite effectively later, such as following a Personal Intensive, or when distance precludes physical sessions. Pam considers each client and situation individually in order to best be of service.
Due to COVID 19, Pam is doing more Virtual sessions and now some in- person sessions in individual circumstances. Only fully vaccinated persons will be seen in person.
Workshop/Events Cancellation Policy: Written cancellation received more than 30 days prior to workshop or event will receive full refund less $10 administrative fee. Written cancellation received 30 days or less receives credit toward another VItally Alive workshop, event or session within one year; in case of personal emergency, refund minus $10 admin fee.
